Starting BluStack


1. On your laptop or PC, ensure BluStack is running. Look for the BluStack icon on the lower right corner of your system. If the icon is missing, double click on BluStack Desktop Icon to start BluStack application.

2. Right click on the BluStack icon and select "Init BT Device".

3. Once the Bluetooth Device is enabled, right click on the BluStack icon and select "Show Configuration...". System Tray

Making PC Discoverable and Connectable


1. In the Configuration Dialog select "General" from the Discoverability Panel. Discoverable

2. In the Connectability Panel select "Allow Connections". Connectable

3. If you are going to perform a secure operation, enable Paring Mode selecting "Allow Pairing" in this Panel. Connectable

Discovering devices


1. In the Configuration Dialog click on the Discover Button. The BluStack start looking for Bluetooth Devices in the vicinity. Device Discovery

2. The Configuration Dialog will show a list of nearby devices and will start looking for their friendly names. Device Discovery

3. BluStack will show you finally the list of devices with their friendly names. Device Discovery

How to push (send) an object to the phone


1. In the Device Discovery Panel select the device you want to sent and object to and click on "Send File..". Object Push

2. Select the file (object) you want to send and click on the "Open" button. Object Push

3. In your phone, if necessary, accept the content coming from the PC. Object Push

1. Right click on the phone you want to establish an FTP session and select "FTP Client..." option.  FTP

2. This will open the FTP Client Form. Select the "Connect" option. Accept the Connection request in your phone. FTP

3. A pairing procedure will be started since this is a secure service. (See Making PC Discoverable and Connectable).
In the Pairing Dialog enter the PIN Code you enter in the phone for the pairing procedure to complete.
(This procedure takes place only once).

4. Browse through your phone's folders double-clicking on the folders icons. FTP

5. To retrieve a file from the phone, double click on the file icon. The status bar will show the progress. FTP

6. To send a file to the phone, in the windows explorer select the file you want to transfer to the phone and drag&drop it on the folder listing in the FTP Client Form. FTP

7. The status bar will show the progress.  FTP

8. To terminate the FTP Session click on the "Disconnect" button. FTP
